Lobby Closed

Since 1905, First National Bank of Hartford (FNB) has been “Your Bank Through Life.”  In that time the Bank has weathered the storms of a variety of difficult times and continued to serve its community well.  As concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19) continue to dominate the headlines, causing turmoil in financial markets and even how we go about our daily lives, you can count on FNB.  While the coronavirus has not affected our business operations to date, we are actively monitoring the latest updates and are taking precautionary measures to best ensure the health of our customers and employees. 

As a result of the recently released guidance by the Centers of Disease Control, we are announcing the following, effective Tuesday, March 17th:

Lobby Closed 3/17 Until Further Notice: We will be closing our lobby and operating solely out of drive-thru’s at each of our three locations effective tomorrow morning March 17th until further notice. 

Drive-Thru Open: We will open additional lanes where possible and provide additional staffing to meet the increased traffic in the drive-thru.  We will not make changes to our hours of operation at any of the three locations at this time. 

ATM: Each of our three locations has ATM as well as drive-thru access, and customers may utilize any Publix ATM location as an in-network ATM.

Mobile App & Online Banking: FNB’s new mobile app can be downloaded for both Apple and Android devices, along with internet banking at our website fnbhartford.com.  If you need any assistance in gaining access to the mobile app or internet banking, please contact us at 334-588-2211. 

Loan Requests & New Accounts: In addition, please contact your loan officer or new accounts representative by phone if you have any related business to conduct as we will continue to be staffed by loan officers as well as new accounts personnel.    

We will reassess over the weekend and communicate if we plan to continue operating in this manner in future.  We recognize that this may cause some inconvenience to our customers and we do not make this decision lightly.  However, we feel this is an important step for us to take in order to ensure the health of our customers and employees, as well as our ability to continue to provide banking services in the long term. 

We would ask for your patience and understanding as we make this temporary change to our operations.  We will continue to keep you updated as the situation evolves over the coming days and weeks.  Thank you for banking with us!
